The city’s airport, Hannover-Langenhagen, is located about 11 kilometers to the north of Hannover.
From there, you can:
Take the S-Bahn train to the city center (central station). It runs every 30 minutes and costs about 3 Euro.
Take a taxi. The taxi ride will take about 15 minutes and will cost approximately 20 Euro.

By Train
Hannover Central Station, aka Hannover Hauptbahnhof, is located in the city center of Hannover. There are a number of direct trains to the Netherlands, France, Switzerland and Austria that ride multiple times a day. The InterCity Express (ICE) connects Hannover to Berlin, Frankfurt, Hamburg, Cologne, Stuttgart and Munich.
